Question/Comment on HD Epic Quest Line
So I'm enjoying the expansion although it kinda feels like more of a continuation of RoR just with the trait trees being the exception. The Epic line is done well, however I have one observation about the ending:

The Big Battles are integrated nicely into the epic, and placing a quest or two between Big Battles works well. I'm just wondering was there any way to include our characters in or have them witness the Rohirrim ride out from the Hornburg led by Theoden and Aragorn as Gandalf and Erkenbrand arrive with reinforcements? I understand that this is Aragorn's moment moreso than Theoden's, and it's not really our moment, however we finish the Hornburg BB, and then simply 'hear' about the aftermath, and meet the Heroes on the field of victory, it feels a little anti-climactic for something that should have a big payoff. Even a quick 'movie scene' with a voice-over like this game used have would have sufficed.
Any other opinions on this?

Stuck in "The Road To Dunharrow", missing Epic line quests
I've reached a state in "The Road to Dunharrow" quest where I can't advance it.
When I finished up one of the epic quests out of Aldburg, the reeve/thane there advanced "The Road to Dunharrow" quest line to send me back to Eowyn. The quest text includes the following in red "You must complete the quests 'Edoras: In Need of Cheering-up', 'Book 12, Chapter 5: Eyes of Edoras', and 'Book 12, Chapter 6: Through the Net' before Éowyn's people can depart for Dunharrow."
When the quest is selected, the maps show rings in two locations, the mead hall of Aldburg where the reeve/thane only has the "you're already on the quest I gave you" ring, and outside Meduseld where Eowyn stands, only she's not there for me (presumably due to phasing). Nor is she inside Meduseld.
Neither Book 12, Chapter 5 or 6 quests are in my quest log. If I look through my completed quests, I can see that "Need of Cheering-up" is complete, but "Eyes of Edoras" and "Through the Net" appear nowhere.
I've ridden all over looking for a quest ring I may have missed and I can't find one anywhere, so I'm pretty much at a complete loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Descriptions and/or locations of the two quests that I evidently haven't finished, "Eyes of Edoras" and "Through the Net", would be a start but I'll take anything I can get.

Brockbridge and Gapholt - how to open?
I had enough fun getting the broadacres to open up. Anyone know what I'm missing? I'm max level, all epics done, I've completed (as far as I can tell) all the hubs in broadacres, Woodhurst, Grimslade, HD, so on and so on... I must've missed something, but I'm not sure what stupid little landscape or directional quest to open up these hubs to play. HELP PLEASE!

Where are the 89+ quests at?
I've been following the Epic to the various towns around and each of them has had a bunch of landscape quests for me. So far I've cleared Edoras and all the towns to the east. My problem is when the Epic sent me to the North, to the town with the Thane hiding in the house, I couldn't find any more landscape quests. The last landscape quests I had both sent me to talk to Gandalf in Edoras, but he didn't give me any followups, so I just kept following the Epic. Right now I'm 1/4th into 89, in Helm's Deep and the Epic is red to me (94), and so far haven't found any landscape quests to the north or west of Edoras. What did I miss?

Is it posible to get kindered with Helimingas just by doing quests?
After finishing last quest in Hornburg i need around 5k to get kindered with Helmingas, so my question is, is that it or did i missed something?

am i missing something?
so, i'm pretty much a story fanat. i play almost only for the story- also for the landscape, but i'm lagging like crazy in my computer so i'll have to wait for the new computer i want to buy and start questing in HD with my alt before i can fully enjoy the landscape.
until the eastfold, every town we visited across rohan and before that had an unique story. we got to fully know the thane and some other characters, and the story advanced in a slow but interesting pace. that, until the eastfold. in aldburg it was still like that, but then in fernmarch it was too quick- we got to briefly know the thane's son and the thane, and from what we could understand his daughter is in love with eomer. or is it a relationship? we don't know. and then after rescuing the thane's daughter, shed tells us to go to beaconwatch. what? what's beaconwatch? don't you want me to tell your father that his daughter is alive? i gone to fernmarch first, and saw that indeed, there was no quest ring anywhere there. i wanted to enter the meadhall to search for a blue ring, but decieded that my lags won't allow me to do extra loadings. so i gone to beaconwatch, and the questing speeded up even more- we can understand that the thane is very duty bound and that his wife supports him, we can understand beaconwatch's purpose- but all of this briefly. after we talk to the rescued daughter and do a session play, suddenly the new thane's son appears wounded with his whole hunting party slain by orcs. his father doesn't seem to care too much. he got to watch the beacon from his window, because it's the thane's duty to do the watchmen's duty, not helping his people or something- that is the purpose of adventurers. so we do a quest for the thane's son and then the orc threat seems to end and we are sended back to aldburg by the a little grateful thane. wait, what? didn't his son just said that i should sneak into the cave?
it seems like i missed something. can anybody point me to the right direction?
edit: now thane arcil thanks me for defeating an orc chieftain of the boar tribe, but i only collapsed the caves. what?!

Stone of Tortoise after Moria
Hey,
I am almost finished with Moria. I had an absolute blast there, amazing scenery!
I bought the Stone of the Tortoise, so i can experience the game "on-level". I used it when I was level 50 and did the epics of Volume I, i did not want to be level 53+ when entering Moria.
I am wondering, which levels i should do in which of the Quest and Expansion Packs. I already decided to use the Stone again when i hit level 60. ( I guess that is going to happen in Moria, as I am trying to do all quests there are - except the fellowship ones). That will allow me to have a nice adventure in Lothlorien.
But after that, i am not sure how to progress further. Shall i go to Enedwaith? If yes, for how many levels? Or shall i go to Mirkwood first? At which levels would you recommend using the Stone again? So, for example, i might go to Mirkwood and do all the quests there, but block xp after reaching level 63; so i can then start Enedwaith without being too much overleveled.
And this goes on, because there seem to be two ways of progressing: Expansions (Moria--> Mirkwood-->Isengard-->Rohan) and Quest Packs (Enedwaith--> Great River). But i want to experience both - all the areas, (almost) all the quests.
I would be thankful i you could give me a kind of rundown when to play in which area and unto which level. I dont mind changing areas in between (start in Enedwaith, then Dunland, then Enedwaith again or so).

Notes:
(1) Difficulty: Quest group size (solo, fellowship, etc.) is not a good indicator of difficulty, particularly for soloing the warbands. Most important considerations are whether the warband is mounted, and whether the boss mob has ranged special attacks (slows, dismounts, one/two-shot damage, etc.). Accordingly, Macsen, Neivion, Rog-Votak, Cledwun, Glendower, and Nudit are the more challenging bands. Priestess Bethan, by comparison, takes a long time to burn down solo (~975k morale, plus adds), but is not a serious threat while doing so.
(2) Bug: The Eastfold warbands are currently bugged. Quest bestowal works properly the first time you encounter these bands, but quests will not re-bestow on following days as they should. Consequently, these 5 warbands are not currently repeatable.
(3) Spawn Pairs: Some warbands may share a spawn point (not yet confirmed), meaning they occupy the same general space and can not (normally) appear on landscape at the same time (similar to Arataus - Shaguk in East Rohan). Possible pairings: Ognir - Neivion, Inras - Rog-votak, and Geralht - Macsen. All three pairs are in the Stonedeans.
(4) Rewards: each warband rewards 2 or 3 Westemnet Iron Coins, 500-1,200 reputation (Eorlingas or Helmingas, depending on zone), steed and LI experience, and a prize box which can hold a wide variety of rewards, including unique purple and teal jewelry and cloaks appropriate to your class. Not yet sure, but it appears that the jewelry/cloak rewards are unique by zone (in explanation: any warband in Stonedeans can drop X type of jewelry for a class, while the warbands in Kingstead will not, but can drop Y; drop chance is likely tied to warband's quest group size). Importantly, the warbands are (afaik) the ONLY repeatable quests in West Rohan aside from Helms Deep Epic Battle quests, and are the only repeatables that reward Iron Coins.

Volume 3, Book 13, Chapter 1
I know many people have had no issue with this but I (and a few others who were hanging around the same area this morning) couldn't finish this quest today. I was able to get to the point where all that was left was to talk to Legolas and another npc (who I believe was named Sigleth although not 100% sure). The text said they should be atop the wall. I went to the area that seemed to be indicated and received the message on screen that I was approaching Legolas (not sure of the exact wording). However I could not see him nor the npc that was with them. I assumed that they were either higher up or further down but I searched for some time (and the only part higher beside there was on a turrent where they were not). I remembered the trick of clicking on the ring in the mini-map and was able to target them but my toon promptly went off the wall down to the rocks below where i was able (through the wall) to finish the part with the 2nd NPC. HOWEVER I was never able to speak with legolas as my toon couldn't get close enough to him through the wall to initiate quest dialogue. I tried both the outside and the inside of the fortress itself. I could clearly see that Legolas was within the wall area but couldn't get to him (I could even phase slightly under one of the ramparts on the inside but couldn't get close enough to him). Not sure why I had the issue when so many have been able to complete this quest. I do know that I have already finished all the other areas of the expansion to this point (have the skill points quests done in each area in other words). I sent in a bug report but was wondering if anyone else had this issue (besides the people who were around me trying to get to legolas) and if there was some current way to work around.

Brigands in the wild quest bypass option - be careful!!

One of my characters, Agarno, accidentally completed the Wild Captain quest first with the NPC. Now the quest is showing as ready to turn in AND there is a ring for it on the minimap. However, the NPC does not react and the quest is no longer completable.
Any ideas or is it just better to cancel?
I did try the shift-F10 u and I can get to the NPC, just unable to turn it in.

Kingsfell Spider Queen in Esteldin
So, I'm running this quest, Spider Queen, as I've done three times before on my Champion.
I've made my way through "The Snare" as the area is called to where she's always been before, but she's not here. I've been waiting a good fifteen minutes for her to spawn in to no avail.
Has anyone else experienced this or can confirm that she's missing? I'm on Gladden but I don't know if that matters.
Edit: Waited a bit longer and she finally spawned in at the top of the hill where she usually is. Not sure what took her so long but problem solved.

Where are the 89+ quests at?
I've been following the Epic to the various towns around and each of them has had a bunch of landscape quests for me. So far I've cleared Edoras and all the towns to the east. My problem is when the Epic sent me to the North, to the town with the Thane hiding in the house, I couldn't find any more landscape quests. The last landscape quests I had both sent me to talk to Gandalf in Edoras, but he didn't give me any followups, so I just kept following the Epic. Right now I'm 1/4th into 89, in Helm's Deep and the Epic is red to me (94), and so far haven't found any landscape quests to the north or west of Edoras. What did I miss?

Quests of Broadacres
Some people have been claiming to have issues with the quests in Broadacres. The only fault I had was with the work around they introduced.
Since I've been able to do all quests, I made a list of all quests completed to get the skill point an move into the Stonedeans, in order.
By the time you start questing in Broadacres, you should have already visited Stoke to complete Volume 3, Book 12, Chapter 6, such that you can complete the quest in Edoras and get that skill point. So, you should currently have Volume 3, Book 12, Chapter 7.

Task: Stubby Beaks
Hello!
Does anyone know where to find stubby beaks for the level 80 task? I must have spent hours trying to find a mob to drop them but I haven't had any luck. I've already tried the crebain in the Wold and the ones in the northern part of the Sutcrofts but they only dropped painted beaks and weathered beaks respectively. I was going to file a bug report because I wasn't sure if this item even exists but I wanted to see if others have completed it or not. Thanks in advance!

Vol 3 book 13
Ok, so there I was at helm's gate. Had a task waiting to talk to Eomer for the Westfold tasks. Now, since I was there, I completed book 13. Now, it appears I can't complete them. In fact it looks like I was stuck in the post-hornburg layer. No, stable, all routes were blocked, and Eomer was 8247m away. I needed to use my milestone skill and then stable ride back to the HD gate to get out of the layer and set evrything back to pre-battle layer. I could then interact with Eomer
Also, interaction with NPCs throughout book 13 caused my client to crash. Example, when I got [Iron Bracelet of the Hornburg], as soon as I selected the item with my mouse pointer, it crashed. This seemed to happen right after the exit of big battle instance then doing the quest turn in.
Very irritating.
